I bought the Leukotape and Kinesiology tape together after seeing a video on how to tape up a sore foot, due to NAS. It has made it berable for me to walk on my foot so I think both products are great!

Both better and worse than I assumed
I blister easily when hiking and running. This tape works well for blister prevention, and for covering existing blisters and hot spots…with a few caveats. Even on short runs (<10k) the adhesive “soaks” through the tape and sticks to socks, toes, whatever. It WILL rip your blister off if covering an existing blister when you remove it. I could soak first, but I’m lazy. If you take two adjacent toes, they will stick together and you won’t be able to spread them or pull them apart Bc of the adhesive issue mentioned above. But the toes won’t blister. I rounded the edges before applying to two blisters I developed yesterday, and the tape stayed in place far better today than when used previously, so perhaps that’s the trick. Overall, I’m glad I purchased and I’ll buy it again.

Unsung HIKER HERO
I just completed a 1 day 31 mile hike on the Appalachian Trail in Maryland (previous most in one day always 16). I know exactly where my hotspots are. I taped the heck out of my feet in those spots and accompanied that with Injinji toe socks and Darn Tough socks and my Solomon SpeedCross trail runners. I had ZERO foot issues (other than generally sore feet). This tape was a godsend for me. My partner had to call it quits with 2 very bad blisters. And it’s easy to take the tape off when done. Truly an unsung HIKER HERO here.

Stays all day!
Gives the support I need and stays all day. Comfortable support and non irritating. The one and only downfall is it leaves adhesive lines on your skin from the edge of the tape but worth the extra time it takes to clean it with rubbing alcohol or oil.

The tape sticks in place very well and I had no blisters. But, it really made my socks gooey.

Sticks Even with Sweat
I did a test run with this Leukotape P, to make sure I didn’t have a reaction to the adhesive (it contains natural rubber and latex). To my surprise it stayed on the whole day and 1/2 until I removed it. I do manual labor in the Florida Keys, so things like bandaids just won’t stick. This stayed even with sweating, pulling on and off gloves, multiple hand washes and hand sanitizing, and reaching in and out of pockets. The typical bandaid only lasts until the first time I pull my glove off. One thing to note is that the top is fabric and will retain moisture. Based on reviews, I was surprised at how easy it was for me to pull it off. However, it did rip out some hair and leave behind a little bit of residue. My hand was discolored and textured where the tape was for a few hours before going back to normal. I will be using this in the future and making my own bandaids out of it that will actually last me through a work shift. It will also go in my backpacking first aid kit.Pics are from when I first applied it, after a day 1/2, and after removing.

Heel Blisters Suck
Can’t beat this tape for stopping blisters. I get heel blisters no matter what shoes I wear or what I am doing. I slap this tape on and it’s like armor. It doesn’t come off until I want it to. It will stay on even when completely submerged in water over multiple days.

Great stuff.
Discovered this on a hiking blog. Not sure how I did without this tape. Haven’t had any issues with it coming off even in the shower. Stays exactly where you put it. A must have for anyone who spends time outdoors.

Great for taping your foot up!
So, I suffered a mild Lis franc type midfoot injury. This tape is thick and has good tensile strength. What I do is use 4-5 inch strips and tape at 45 degree angles from just below my big toe, then criss cross from the other side. You can wear in for many days, take showers in it, doesn’t come off. Grade S (before A bruh).

Great Support!
I have plantar fasciitis and I work a job where I’m on my feet for 11-12 hours straight. I use this tape to wrap my feet in a certain way to help support my arches and give them some relief. It work great and lasts the entire 11-12 hours without coming loose and peels off easily when I’m done for the night. One roll lasts a while too as I use this almost every day and still have plenty left. Definitely recommend!

Does the job, but the residue can leak through
The tape comes in a roll just like any other type of tape. You can cut it length wise to your needs. I’ve had no issues with the tape slipping or coming off/loose on my long walks or jogging 3 miles. The places I was getting hit spots or blisters healed up and no more hot spots when I use the tape. The main downside is that the stickiness can come through the tape and stick to your socks which makes taking off the socks a bit more difficult. It also leaves the coating on the socks and I’ve had the stickiness even last through a wash cycle. It doesn’t bother me enough to stop using it, but that could bother some folks.

Good alternative to moleskin to prevent blisters/chafing on feet
The tape works well to prevent blisters on feet when hiking. It’s thinner than moleskin, and it kind of glides between your foot and the boot/shoe.

So Wish I’d Discovered This Sooner
Update: After a few more uses, I developed an allergic reaction to the latex. A great product for those who aren’t sensitive to latex. I require blister prevention for hiking and backcountry skiing. I have oddly shaped heels and supination that no footbed, sock, or boot or even molded boot liner can fully address. For years, I have put duck tape directly on my skin to tame the chafe. As I have aged, the skin on the sides has become thinner and I can no longer tolerate duck tape. I had blisters atop blisters until I learned about Leukotape. The way it forms and slightly stretches enables a smooth, yet thin barrier that breathes. I backcountry skied 8 miles today and never thought about my feet once! The tape adhered beautifully and I was delighted that it released easily and pretty cleanly without pulling my skin. Great product! A clear Number One in the No More Blister arsenal. One caveat: To assure adhesion, thoroughly clean and dry area before applying. And do not use if sensitive to latex. Happy Outdooring!

It does what it’s supposed to do
This sticks like no other protective material I have used. On a couple of packing trips, I had to remove this in order to replace it. I left it on for three days (sounds gross, I know!) just to see how long it would stay on. I still had to peel it off after three days of steady hiking. That it is the only minor complaint I have, that it is a little more difficult to remove than other products.

bye bye blisters.
This stuff is an absolute game changer for back country folks! This stuff is truly incredible at preventing blisters, but it doesn’t stop there, if you get a blister pack it with triple and then throw a strip of this over the top. It works like a dream! If you have soft feet and like to explore you NEED this in you backpack. It has saved my a** and many of my friends and family that I drag into the woods on long treks. Recently I start putting this over the top of wounds I don’t want to get dirt and grim into, like superficial hand wounds. Being an RN in the ER whenever I get a cut on my hand I cover it with this and it stays on all shift through all of the hand washing and hand sanitizer use. Bandaids are a thing of the past when you have leukotape!

Last year on a 40 mile trip we took in the Wind Rivers I suffered the worst blisters of my life
I am an avid backpacker. Unfortunately I am also very prone to blisters on my feet. The last 4 years I have tried everything to prevent and/or stop blisters. Last year on a 40 mile trip we took in the Wind Rivers I suffered the worst blisters of my life. I wore 2 pair of socks, I used Mole Skin, I used band aids, I wore my shoes every day for a year before the trip, I did everything I could think of. It was all useless. This year we planned an 80 Mile trip across the Uinta Mountains. I searched the internet for ways to assure that I would NOT get any blisters as that would be miserable on a tip this size. I ultimately went with Leukotape. I was skeptic at first because not many of the reviews were from backpackers, but after the first day i was hooked. I ended up almost completely wrapping my feet. After 5 days of hiking through water, snow, hail, sun and up to 13,000ft peaks, etc… the tape never came off. Honestly it hardly even moved on my skin at all. (it sticks like duck tape) the ONLY blister I got was on the very last day when we pushed 20 miles to make it out. It was on one of the few toes that i did not wrap. I was very very very pleased with how this turned out. The other guys in my party ended up using it and being very grateful I had brought it. I will never backpack without it again. The only downside I can see to it (not enough to not give it 5 stars) is how sticky it is. When i finally pulled the tape off, it ripped all the hair off my feet and even a small piece of skin. But that was all well worth it to save myself the pain of blistered feet!

Amazing tape for blister defense
This tape is amazing!!! Best blister defense I’ve ever found hands down. I came across this tape from a recommendation from the Gritty films on YouTube and they were very correct! I’ve always struggled with my feet, regardless of the boots I wear and the socks I wear. Hot spots always develop and end with bad blisters. This tape stops that completely! Make sure your feet are dry when putting it on and it will stay for days. I tapped up before a 4 day elk hunt and had no hot spots or even remote discomfort the entire trip even with wet feet climbing up 1600 feet elevation. By the end of the trip the tape was still right where I put it and had no roll ups or sign of letting go. It’s not easy to get off, but that’s why it works so good right? Don’t hesitate, just get it! I keep the hole roll in my pack! Thank you Gritty for the recommendation!

Backpacking GAME CHANGER!
Here to leave a helpful review for hiking and backpacking purposes. This stuff is a MUST have IMO if you are a backpacker or long hiker/runner.We used almost a whole roll hiking the JMT a couple years ago and I will not go on another long backpacking trip without it. I use it as a preventative measure to ensure no blisters, rubbing raw hips, collar bone or back raw from the backpack. Just stick a small couple inch piece on hot zones or areas of rub and it saves your A**!The only downside (really a plus though) is the difficulty of removing it. The tape leaves a sticky residue sometimes and is like taking off a tough band-aid. Again, not awesome, but you can leave the tape on for a day or two before reapplying and won’t come off when sweating or getting wet.If you’ve ever dealt with tending to blisters or raw pack rub you know how terrible and painful process it can be. Get some of this and tape up before you go out!

Hunt-saving tape.
I backcountry elk, bear and mule deer hunt. A 10 mile day in the Rocky Mountains at 8-10,000 feet is the norm. With full packs and meat the weight adds up fast. Even the best boots in the world and best socks, and some days you’re going to get a hot spot. If you don’t address it you’re in it deep and good luck to you and your feet. Boots, socks and this tape are the three most important pieces of gear on any trip in my opinion. You simply cannot traverse this terrain with massive blisters under load. I mean, you technically can, but I file that under the ‘no thanks and never again’ category of life. Simple to use. Find your hot spots or spots that you know are gonna become hot spots. For example I always tape my heels. Period. Don’t even have to risk it anymore. Just tape them up and go. Tape them up, but DON’T over-tape. A single layer of this stuff will stick to you like white on rice and won’t come off until you pull it off. It is waterproof and skin adhesion is so good that you will know it when you remove it. It won’t hurt but it will surprise you. Pro-top: start a roll of this around your sunscreen or a tube of chapstick so you don’t have to carry the entire roll. Bring two feet of it. You’ll only use a few inches, but still have plenty for your buddies. Now relax and go hunt. Get a big one, and never worry about blisters again.

Better than moleskin for hiking and camping; good for sports injuries, too.
CONS: Nearly impossible to tear/cut without scissors.PROS: Great tool for first aid kids and trainers’ bags. Sticks well. Does not slide around. Sticks even when wet.I first heard about this stuff in my Sports Injury Prevention class, but I forgot about it before ever buying any. Then I heard it mentioned on a YouTube video as a great alternative to moleskin, especially for through-hikers. That was when I ordered a roll.It is sort of like a fabric duct tape that sticks really well to skin. You can place it over a blister, and it effectively removes the friction and stops the irritation. Since it sticks well, even to damp skin, sweaty feet are no problem for it. It even stays on through a shower or two as long as you do not tug on it.My biggest peeve is that it is so tough to cut. I nicked myself on a camping trip, so I tried to cut off a piece of the tape to cover my boo-boo. I only had my pocket knife on me. As I tried to cut off a piece of the tape, the adhesive caught my knife blade and then the knife slipped. Now I had two injuries to attend to. Even with blood dripping onto my knife, I was able to finish cutting off (now two) pieces of the tape. I wrapped the tape directly over the bleeding wound (after cleaning it), and it did a nice job of staunching the bleeding. After about an hour, I replaced the blood-soaked piece with a fresh one (being much more careful in how I cut the new piece), and removing the tape did not cause the cut to start bleeding again, and even though it had been bleeding when it wrapped the tape around my finger, it still held quite well. I don’t think that this was ever an intended or advertised use, but it makes a great tool to have in a survival kit. Now, I just cut off 1.5″ pieces of the tape, roll them into a tiny roll, and stick them in my kits. The tape unpeels from itself pretty easily, and I don’t have to worry about cutting the pieces while under stress. I also keep the big roll AND a pair of scissors in my big first aid kit to restock or for larger jobs.

Tape your toes before they blister
Used this on a ten day through hike. By day three, my buddies were taping with it instead of moleskin too. Tape before you need it, this stuff wears like iron easily five days with three days of wet feet in boots.Warning that when placed on the ball of your foot on a good hot spot in the heat that the adhesive may work through the fabric with bad results. In this case a layer of moleskin over the Leukotape is just the ticket.

Best Tape EVERRRRRR I WILL FOREVER have these on hand at home and abroad.
The PTs I had used these types to wrap my ankles to provide extra stability, and I have been using it ever since and keep it in my car and gym bag. The adhesive is STRONG and will last you DAYSSS, word of caution though if you plan on using this on bare skin like I do be sure to remove it slowly or best submerge in water cause its sticker and will pull skin to.Add bonus- These tape can protection you from blisters, if you know where most of your blisters form, cover it with this tape and it won’t ever happen. (from a guy that gets blisters a lot when I go on hikes/vacation)

Took my skin off
I needed to tape up my sprained ankle. The tape offers good support but it took a chunk of my skin with it when I was peeling it off at the end of the day. I wasn’t even rushing it too much but the adhesive is just so strong that one has to be extremely careful and slow.

This is amazing magical, made by fairy’s, physics defying tape
If you need to use tape for anything on your body for any reason this is the one to get. I use this for saving my feet if I am hiking, biking, or camping and I start to get a blister. It is like having a second skin and any rubbing or chafing your feet might experience will be gone or mitigated by this miracle stuff.Be prepared to have some pain or hair pulled out when you remove it though. Because, man oh man, it sticks to your body like nothing else I have ever used. Imagine the brown part of a bandaid (this might even be what that part is made out of) all over. It has incredible staying power. I used it for a 5-day camping trip and it stayed put the entire time even after I went swimming 3 or 4 times during that trip.I even found other unique applications for it like taping my big toe up after having issues with an ingrown nail. I looped it around the underside of my toe to pull the skin back and allow the nail to grow out without digging into my skin and it works like gangbusters. You could use this stuff like that professional sports tape stuff they sell if you were so inclined as well. I suppose your imagination is where this stuff ends because I have used it for a multitude of things.Get this stuff…As just a first aid back up this is great too because this roll will last you a good long time and it doesn’t dry out like other tapes that sit around. My roll is over a year old and it still gets used. I figure I’ll have to buy another in another year based on my usage, but I did get a larger roll to be fair.

Great for hiking blisters/hot spots
Been using duct tape for years when hiking and I get a blister or hot spot on my feet. This holds to your skin better, and is a little more malleable for areas around a joint too. With either this or duct tape, I recommend pulling off a foot or so and rolling it up so you have just enough for the trail.New must-see hiking item for me

Great for Blister Prevention
I use this to cover hot spots when hiking and backpacking – spots that are rubbing, but have not yet blistered. It stops hot spots from developing into blisters and stays put, even on sweaty feet. It is better for this purpose than any product I have tried (moleskin, band aid blister cusions, band aid hydro seal, duct tape, the list goes on).I would absolutely positively not put this on a blister or damaged skin- there is no way to avoid ripping the damaged skin off when you need to take the tape off. I recommend testing the tape on a small patch of skin for a few days before using it – some people have a nasty allergy to it. Keep in mind you may sensitize to it at any time, so remove it immediately if it ever gets itchy.

Great stuff for your feet
So if you are a backpacker on the Pacific Crest Trail this is a must have. Any hot spots on your feet? Stick some of this tape on it and don’t take it off for a while. All good. You get a blister? Stick some of this one and then keep hiking. This stuff is great. You stick it on and as long as your foot was clean when you put it there then it’s not coming off until you take it off. I had some on my foot for almost a week and even took a shower during that time and it still didn’t come off. This stuff is great. You just have to keep the roll from getting too beat up because then it doesn’t come off nicely and it leaves the sticky stuff on the tape below it and then it’s trash. So you got to keep it halfway nice and not dented it or whatnot. Otherwise this stuff is the best and a life saver; well foot saver for me. After a few hundred miles of hiking your feet get nice and hard and you don’t get anymore blisters and don’t really need to even carry this stuff anymore. I still did but never used it so ya.

So good you would think it was made by NASA! Stayed on my feet for 6 days through 6 showers.
I recently walked the El Camino in Spain. I went 430 kilometers, and Leukotape was the only reason I made it. Not only did the tape prevent blisters, but it also protects existing blisters. I was able to walk many miles on existing blisters because I used this tape. The only reason I got the blisters was because I didn’t take the time in the beginning to pre wrap my feet in the tape. I recommend that you pre wrap your feet and toes if you really want to prevent blisters all together. I can’t recommend this product enough. You can honestly just wrap your feet once and if you do it well the tape will stay in place for up to 1 week even if you shower every day! Take it from someone who just walked 300 miles. This is the best anti blister product that exists. I also tried various powders and nothing came close to this tape. By the time we were 3 days though the trip I was supplying all of my friends with tape so they could keep going lol. None of us would have made it without this tape.

Blister Protection
I use this on my forefoot / feet to prevent blisters during really long hikes and ultras. I have had no issues with adhesion. I don’t put any special chemicals on my feet. All I do is wipe my soles down with a rag, then an alcohol wipe. Let dry then apply the tape. Has never failed me in this application. The tape backing is slick / smooth. Removal is best done while soaked in hot water. The tape will loosen and should peel free without skin damage.Using this like “KT” style taping is a bad idea. First, there is no elasticity to it at all. Second, the entire concept of KT style taping on a large joint (ex: shoulder) is pseudo-sci. Just wasting your time and money. Using this for small joint taping to restrict movement (ex: ankle taping w/ prewrap) is doable, but cheaper cloth athletic tape / hockey tape works just as well and is far cheaper. It’s all about application and I haven’t found anything better to prevent blisters on my forefoot / feet.

This is by far the stickiest tape I’ve ever tried that stays on even through long workouts. I’ve mainly been using this for my fingers (rock climbing) and this works very well. The only downside is that because the adhesive is so strong it makes taking it off a bit difficult, but I don’t really mind

Very sticky, handy, and great deal!
I love this stuff! I use it for hiking and any small cuts/ scrapes that I get while outdoors. It’s incredibly sticky so please be aware that this stuff doesn’t move. It’s not a stretchy material, but it is very flexible (moves with my feet and doesn’t restrict movement.)If you have a scab over a healing wound, I would not put this stuff over it.I have also used this for random tasks while outdoors such as:-fixing my fishing pole-patching my river floating tube-fixing a part of the undercarriage on my SUVOverall, this is a must have for me while outdoors, and a great deal overall!Lastly, please try a small amount on your skin first. I’ve seen other reviews complain of rash.I have NEVER experienced the rash and I’ve been using this stuff Like twice a week for well over a year.

Craziest strongest ultra most stickiest tape EVER
This is the most adhesive sticky tape I’ve ever found. It sticks to skin like it’s made of actual skin. Getting it off is a real pain, but that’s not the point. Put it on cuts, on hot spots before blisters form. Prophylactic on areas you might get blisters. You could probably patch a ship hull with it. Patch a tent hole, tape a broken part, close up a food bag. It’s seriously good. The roll is a life time supply unless you have the worst shoes in the world. I wrap a little bit around a chapstick tube and keep maybe 1′ of it rolled up instead of carrying the massive roll on trips.

This tape is simply amazing, I do a lot of hiking and in certain situations get a blister, the same spots every time I get them, I saw this tape talked bout in more than one hiking articles I’ve seen online and thought I’d give it a try, I’m glad it did. I’ve not had a blister or hotspot since doing so. Not only did it prevent blisters, but, it stays exactly where I put it and does not come off until I remove it. Simply put, it works flawlessly. Buy it, you won’t be disappointed. I cut strips and put it on wax paper and put it in my small medical kit in my backpack so I don’t need to carry the entire roll. I put small strip on the back of my ankles every time I go on a hike, whether I need it or not as a preventative measure and will continue to do so, it’s not fun to be sidelined with blisters when I could be hiking! It’s a must-have for me, and should be for you too if you hike.
